We hope everyone is enjoying the holiday! Because we are not day trading today. We wanted to discuss recovering from losing trades.
All traders and all day trading systems must have losing trades! In fact, losing trades is an integral part of trading! One simply cannot expect to win on every trade he places!
I’ve said many times that day trading is an awesome way to make a daily income! However, anything good in life takes practice. To be a successful day trader – you must have a good recovery plan! In our day trading course, we teach you how we profit everyday with the Emini s&P markets. However we too take losing trades. One of the most important parts of our teachings is our recovery strategies that quickly get you back into the profit zone!
Learning how to recover from losers is a difficult thing to do. Why? Simple, nobody wants to lose money! Trading is a business but it is a unique business. Most businesses do not take losses on transactions. Or they wouldn’t be in business. However, day trading is different. You must take losing trades, you must take winning trades.
The goal of course is at the end of the day – to have more money in your trading account than you started with! So I tell my students to learn, practice, and master recovery – make it your finest attribute.
If you are a new trader or an experienced trader – I urge you to practice your recovery skills! Stay focused, disciplined, and have a recovery plan! Anyone of my students will tell you that I teach recovery extensively as it is VITAL to day trading success!
Here is a 4 part video series where I take a losing trade, make a recovery trade. Make another recovery trade that I break even on (I was a little aggressive) and then another winner that nets me 1 ½ profit (after commissions) for the day. Best of all – I did this in 1 hour!
