Emini Trading: Futures Results 11/1/2010
Well tomorrow is Election Day! Everyone is waiting to see what is going to happen after the elections! We have Elections, QE, as well as Non Farm Payroll this week, so you can count on a lot of action this week for sure! I am going to MISS IT ALL as I am traveling all week.
Unfortunately, I probably will not be able to do a blog every day, but I will do them as often as I can.
Today was a “one and done” for some Tick Traders, for others it was a 4 tick loser, followed by a recovery & profit trade! Remember, we trade off of tick data, and tick data varies from computer to computer. Our Long Term Filter had gone long, so we avoid short trades for 3 bars on the Long Term Filter. Our first trade today, that lost, was avoided for some students as the Long Term Filter was still in the 3rd “long bar” so they simply avoided the short, grabbed the long for a one and done!
