Emini Futures: Day Trading Results & the FOMC

We had another nice one and done – 3 in a row. Just after the opening bell we had a Pullback setup with our long term indicator getting close to going short. I took the short trade – looking for 4 ticks.

After the long term indicator went short I wanted to take more off the trade – I was going to get another 3 – 4 ticks – but by the time I tried to change my exit order I was filled with a profit. Well left a little money on the table on that one.

We had to nice NSE trades coming out of No Zone – these particular NSE trades have a higher percentage rate of winning. So in the spirit of the NSE out of No Zone I have a live day trading video of this exact trade! – on a live account of course!

Our Emini Futures Course teaches the No Zone rules as well as when trades are higher probability trades – like the Pullback trade today that became higher probability after the long term went short.

FOMC is today and the markets are of course wanting the reiteration that interest rates will stay low! We have the housing tax credit ending in a day or so. Be very interesting to see how this plays out.

OUR SURVEY
Also, every day this week until Sunday, May 5, we will leave the survey open. Students and non-students alike are welcome to take it and I promise you it is very short! So far, the responses have been pretty illuminating with some fantastic questions from you, the readers. I urge you to take it. I will be pulling the most asked questions and using these to create more video series as well as address the questions specifically in future blogposts. There are a lot great responses and comments. So, to all who have already taken the survey, I thank you!! 🙂

Now, go enjoy the rest of the day!
