Futures Day Trading Results
Good morning everybody! We had a great trading day today. We traded the 8:30 reports and had a couple nice winners for an early goal. I have to admit, I jumped the gun on one of my trades, I thought it was going to be a stop, so I reversed the position, thus creating a small 1 tick loss. Well once I reversed, my initial trade was correct and went in my direction, so I had to take another loss! I will illustrate this in the members daily video.
Either way, once that happened, I knew I had to commit to the day. I usually does not take all day, but I plan on it.
I ended up being done at 9:40 am – so I was happy! I made 1.75 points so all is well. Now I can relax the rest of the day!
Here are my trades today:
Pre Market Trades:
- Trade 1: + 2 ticks
- Trade 2: – 1 tick
- Trade 3: – 6 ticks (this should have been my last winning trade of the day – sorry I am only human!)
- Trade 4: + 8 ticks (full recovery)
- Trade 5: + 2 ticks
After the bell:
- Trade 6: + 2 ticks
Like I have stated previously, these day trading methods are very forgiving. You can still make money even if you make a mistake! Of course the goal is not to make mistakes, and that takes practice!
