Emini Trading Results

Happy New Year everyone! We hope your holidays we’re festive and joyous!!!

Today’s blogpost is a little later than usual, but the main point is we are ready to get back in the groove and start trading! Volume, unfortunately is not co-operating! We are trading the sp Emini system all day long lately! Normally, over 80% of the time we are done with the sp Emini system withing 30 – 60 minutes. Over the course of the last few weeks we simply have very little volume and very few trades!

We are getting one and done days, but to be truthful they have been sporadic. So we’re waiting on some volume!

Today I had to trade the ES ALL DAY – I ended up slightly ahead, but again it literally took all day long!

The Dow Emini Strategy has been outperforming lately. It normally works well all the time because the Dow Emini always has low volume. It appears when the ES is very low, the Dow outperforms. Today is no exception.

I have students across the board reporting anywhere from 30 – 100 ticks today alone! That’s a great benefit with my Dow / Advanced Video Series (to be released this week!)

Students that already own the Dow Strategy use it combined and trade the ES (after they understand it all, or course J ) and recovering, and trading both markets.

A good example IS today. Some students we’re down 2 -3 points on the ES. We had several big winners on the Dow Strategy today – which recovered all their money and made a profit for the day!

Of course learning to day trade one market takes time, discipline, and a lot of practice. Learning 2 takes even more time J . My Dow Emini Strategy is a lot easier to learn than my S&P system but the ES is still my favorite market to trade 🙂

We will be doing a webinar Thursday January 7, 2010 at 4:30 PM Eastern time. Email us if you would like to register!

Cheers!
ETS
