Day Trading Results / Weekly Update July 16, 2010
Wow what an awesome week of emini day trading! The volatility has increased and the markets are making some very nice swings! We’ve had some nice one and done days and we’ve had some days we had some losers. Of course we expect to have losing trades. Not that we’re negative. More like REALISTIC! Losing trades happen to ALL traders. We stand out from the crowd as we do indeed expect to take losing trades and more importantly we have a system that recovers from the losers!
Today was a prime example. I actually needed the day off for personal reasons, but I managed to trade the first 30 minutes or so of the day for a nice video series.
Trade 1 & 2 – NSE (normal system entry) and it was coming out of No Zone – I was all over that as that is a high probability trade. A high probability trade is NOT a guaranteed trade. In fact the NSE out of NO Zone today LOST 7 ticks! Did I panic? Of course not! I know that the 2nd NSE coming out of No Zone is a strong NSE if the first NSE out of No Zone fails – so I reversed and recovered the 7 ticks. Hindsight proved I could have stayed in longer for a nice run down. I didn’t! I was happy with the recovery and knew I could make my profit on the next trade.
Right after the news hit, I grabbed a nice pullback trade for 5 ticks to finish up the day just after 10 am! Not too shabby!
Folks, you must expect losing trades. You must keep your head on when you take losing trades. Of course NOBODY wants to lose money. Too bad as it WILL happen. Discipline and a strong set of rules is what every trader needs to be succesful. At least in this traders very humble opinion.
Well our videos are increasing in popularity as we continuously show results. And we do so on a live trading account. We get the question all the time “Why not offer a free trial to the trading room?” well to answer that – our trading room is not an “Earn as you learn” room. We are in there to teach and answer questions, not to give trading advice. If we offered a free trial to someone that did not own the system, they would be completely lost as they wouldn’t understand what we are talking about.
We take the high road and show you real trades on a real account. We’ve heard too many stories of “Free Trading Room” trials that are filled with shills and all that. We have a surplus of trading systems out there, some good, some bad – I’ll let you decide on that. We just simply show our system day in – day out and show REAL results. What more can we do…??
