Day Trading / Emini Results 12/2/09
Hi everyone. Our trading system had a longer day on the SP. I had 9 trades and pretty much went most of the day! I didn’t finish until about 1:45PM Eastern.
A profitable day to be sure, but a long one. My trading system is designed to finish up quick. Most of the times it does! Sometimes it does not. My Dow System did very well and that really offset the long day as that was a quick 25 tick winner. I don’t “count” the dow winnings because I clearly state that my online trading course makes 1 ES point a day! So even though I am UP – I still make the one point in the ES as well!
So Dow Trades – 1 – 25 ticks. Had I held out, I coulda had 50 +
ES Trades:
-7 , +4, +7, -6, -4, + 4, +4, +4, + 4 after commissions I am up about 6.75 ticks.
Ok. Good day. Just long.
But let’s talk about day trading for income. If you only traded 1 contract using my ES and YM system today you would be up $84.50 on the ES and $120 on the YM for a total of $184.50 for the day – and that is just 1 contract! Not too shabby for a smaller trading account! At least, in my humble opinion.
