Futures Trading Results 9/18/09 (& the Emini Dow!)
Trading SP Eminis today was back and forth for a bit. My EET strategy hit 2 nice winners! However I went with the first valid NSE and it was a loser. I had to recover – but I went back and forth. I had – 5 ticks / – 5 ticks / – 2 ticks. I then had a nice EET winner that I converted to an NSE (stayed in longer) for + 8 Ticks. I lost 4 more ticks. Had another EET that I made 10 ticks off of! That right there had me above board. I just took a pullback trade for 4 ticks and now I am done for the day with 1 + point profit.
Actually I am up more than that! I also day traded the dow eminis! I have been working on this Dow Emini Strategy for over a year and I am just now starting to talk about it. Why? Simple – backtesting results simply do not cut it for me. I like to forward test for several months before I ever discuss it! So today – my Dow Mini strategy had 2 nice winners – both for 25 points – I only had the first trade. So I am up 25 Dow Ticks as well. Not too bad of a day!
For a limited time – I will be teaching the dow emini strategy to my students. After that I am not sure what I will do with it – so now is a really good time to get started day trading for a living with our trading concepts! Another reason (as if you needed one!) is that next month I will be in my Live Trading Room longer – trading another method that I am teaching. This method has you trade for 2 – 4 points per day! This will be covered only in my Live Trading Room – so you don’t want to miss it!
