Futures Day Trading Results
Hi all.. What a day we had.. Bernanke obviously upset the market with his 1/4 point cut… Apparently everyone wanted 50 basis points.. Market tanked.. I actually could not resist and took a short trade after the announcement for a 2 point gain. I used my methods but do not recommend doing what I did. It was a pure news play, but I knew the market was going to tank….
My “system” trades were as followed:
- Trade 1: + 2 ticks
- Trade 2: + 2 ticks
- Trade 3: + 1 tick
3 for 3, 1.25 points and done in 20 minutes. My kind of morning. Not going to count the fed trade but wanted to be honest and mention it.
