The question I get asked the most ..

First, our weekly update…. We had an incredible trading week! The markets moved slow, but we were still able to profit everyday. To be honest, I am a little surprised. NOt just this week, but the entire year!

Normally with the volatility this low, we go for our 1 point per day profit mentality. Now, that’s a great mentality to have ANY time – just do the math. But, when the volatility increases we typically have several more available points to profit from!! When the volatility slows down, its back to 1 point.

Several trading days this year have warranted 2, 3, or more points! And folks, this is in 1st hour of trading!

So, now to the question I get a lot: How much can I make trading? Well, that’s a loaded question!

First, you got to understand The Tick Trader System, and you MUST have the confidence to trade, and the discipline to follow rules. If that weren’t enough, you then have to have RISK CAPITAL… we can go on and on, but you get the picture.

So assuming you have all that…

Let’s say you have a $10,000 trading account.

Let’s say you trade 3 contracts. Going for 1 point per day you are earning $150 per day – about 37K per year.. Not too shabby for an hours work per day on average. BUT if you target 2 – 3 points per day when the volatility increases your profits can grow exponentially! Of course as you earn money, you can add contracts as well!

Let’s remember -trading is RISKY and is not easy! You can lose your risk capital! That’s why it is VITAL that you understand the rules and more importantly – be able to follow them without question!

Here’s a quick video and, as a reminder, Monday is Presidents Day – so enjoy the long weekend!

Cheers!
