Emini Trading Results & The Life Of A Day Trader
Today was not a one and done day. However our online trading strategies had us finished by 10 am Eastern time. We had a losing NSE, followed by a recovery NSE, another winning NSE on that! Made our profit quite nicely. WE also had a great opportunity a few minutes later as we came out of NO NSE ZONE and we had a nice 8 tick winning EET!

In today’s video we are doing a series titled “The Life of A Day Trader” – kind of like a day in the life of….. Sometimes trading goes back and forth (a little like today) so I recorded trading, in a real account, of course where I was going up and down. The important thing is to realize that we won’t always win on every trade, so we must be prudent and disciplined and follow the rules.

The Life of a Day Trader
People absolutely love the idea of becoming a day trader. Sounds like a pretty glamorous life – work at home, make a ton of money, live free, etc. And that truly is plausible if you are a disciplined trader, and you have a time-tested set of rules to follow.
Day Trading can also be frustrating, if you let it! Lot of times we are done so quickly that you just think it’s the easiest thing in the world to do.
Then other times, you seem to spin your wheels! You take a loser, you win some back, you take a “finish trade” and that loses! Now you are back to recovering and kinda starting all over again! Sometimes it feels like you are spinning your wheels!
Well, sometimes this IS what day trading is!
A lot of could be successful day traders fail. Why do they fail? Well, there’s a host of reasons: Lack of discipline, overleveraging, the inability to follow rules, letting frustrations get the best of you.
We offer a viable system that gives you the potential to make a great income day trading the Eminis, however we never claim it to be easy!
If you think day trading is easy, or you feel you can start trading live in a week after purchasing a course, you are setting yourself up to fail! This may not be what you want to hear.
Folks, day trading really is an AWESOME business! But you gotta work at it, and you must work hard at it! You need to be disciplined, and you need to follow the rules at all times!
Lately, we’ve been recording videos on a real trading account. Our thoughts were that if we say our system works, we should show it working with real money. Therefore, I’ve put together a 4 part video series entitled “Realities of Day Trading.” It’s 4 parts because we only have about 9 minutes of space for each video, so unfortunately a couple of videos have been edited, so you will not hear all of the dialogue.

I am very happy we got this on tape as it shows a good example of our “trading day”. We start off with a small loser – we recover, we lose, we recover… back and forth! Finally we catch the right trade, recover our losses, make our profits and cover commissions – in about 1 hour in 15 minutes.
Days like this happen. Days like this are why we HAVE RULES and why I preach about discipline!
