Emini Trading Results and the etsProtrader
Again, Happy New Year to everyone! By now you’ve read the previous post announcing our new etsProTrader Automated Strategy! We will have more news on that next week! When etsProTrader was in development I had to bring in a moderator for my Trading Room as most of my time was spent developing ProTrader. That also left me more time to do more daily blog videos. I am now back calling trades in the Live Room 2 – 3 days per week so I will not be posting as many videos as I simply do not have the time. I spend a lot of time with my students and that will always come first.
We had non-farm payroll today and job creation was less than hoped, but unemployment rates dropped to 9.4 %. Realize that 6 million people stopped looking for work and dropped from the roles! We had a nice emini trading day. We started off with a high probability NSE which ended up losing 5 ticks. We quickly reversed and recovered. We then had a short NSE that was good for 4 + and a Pullback trade that was high probability as the Long Term Filter went short. That trade was good for 6+ ticks. So even after a losing trade, we recovered, and profited before 10 am. This is the “norm” for our emini trading system. Of course having better volume certainly helped!
The beginning of January is normally very low volume but today it was quite good. I am sure that was due to non farm numbers being released today. So we’ll be back on Monday to do it again! Here’s today’s video below – enjoy!
