Emini Day Trading Results October 29, 2007

I started the pre market trading at 8:00 am – my usual time. I usually trade for a single tick during pre market hours – unless there is a report out at 8:30 – then I go for more, as explained in the manual. Of course we did not have any reports out this morning. Here’s my trades:
- First trade was around 8:32 and was out in about one minute for a quick tick. + 1 tick
- Second trade was around 8:40 and was out at 8:41 for a quick tikc + 1 Tick
- Third trade was at 9:32 was out 9:38 for 2 ticks + 2 Ticks
- Final trade was 9:43 and was out at 9:47 for 2 more… + 2 Ticks
Total profit for today (before commish) was +1.50 points and I was done and sipping on cappucino before 10 am — my goal !!
I sometimes trade in the afternoon but elected not to today. I did go back and found 2 – 3 great trades after lunch. I mention these trades because some people may live out west and would rather trade the afternoon session. Therefore, had you started trading at Noon Eastern – you would have been done with a point profit by 2:15 PM.
The Tick Trader Methods allow you to trade when you want to trade. I like to be done early in the morning so I can focus on other things. Sometimes I have appointments or other obligations in the morning and therefore dont trade until the afternoon. I really like the flexibility that comes with daytrading.
