Day Trading Results July 28, 2009

Emini Traders had an awesome day! We had several straight winners! Some members were up over 5 + points before 10:15 AM!!

Personally I took the first NSE – made my 1 point profit – and walked away after 9:34 in the morning!

I would like to expand a bit more on yesterday’s blog post. I do not discuss this much with non-members -however we have a strategy that a lot of my students use. I call it my “chop-money” method.  Its pretty simple really – on the good days you grab 2 – 4 points profit – on a drawdown day (like we discussed yesterday) you simply pull the plug at a certain point – knowing most days you can take the 2 – 4 points per day, and still average more than 1 point profit per day.

In fact “chop money” traders had over the past 7 trading days – 6 days that made over 3 points (some over 4) – and one losing day – yesterday.

As you read – I recovered and still made a profit, as did a big portion of my students. We accept that drawdowns, and losing trades are simply part of trading. We simply recover, make our profit and move on. However I recognize that some need to take a break – and that’s why we have a “chop money” method!

I invite you to explore our site and learn more about our Day trading system. We have a great program with awesome support. We also have 2 great software programs – ETS Pro Indicator and ETS Auto Trader – Both of these programs run on the NinjaTrader 6.5 platform. However as NinjaTrader 7.0 becomes available – both these software programs will be vastly improved!

Good Trading!
