April 6th Trading Results
First thing I do is look at the reports every morning before I start trading. Well today I overlooked FOMC Meeting Minutes @ 2:00 and it cost me. Typically a pretty choppy day in the morning and a day I like to kind of step away from. In any event, I did not see it until 10:30 after once again looking at the report schedule and that led to me taking the rest of the day off with a loss. It is crucial to stick with your rules and attention to detail. That being said, you become a better trader when you make mistakes 🙂 See results below on a day I normally do not trade 🙁

TUESDAY APRIL 5th
A nice day in the trading room. We had reports at 9:45 & 10:00 this morning so it kept us out of entering a position until after 10. We had to be patient and it paid off. We caught a nice ES trade to hit daily goal and also had a small NQ winner before that. The PTS system is doing pretty well as you can see from the results. Again, targeting 50.00 per contract per day is a nice achievable goal. I am not here to sit in front of the computer and trade all day. I like to make a daily profit and move on with the rest of the day doing whatever I want to do 🙂 Have a great day and we will be back tomorrow.
