Day Trading for a living is really about knowing what to do, when to do it, and MOST of all having the discipline to do it. When you take a losing trade, RECOVER! Don’t complain, or rag on yourself – that won’t get you anywhere! I have hundreds of successful students. And a lot of them were not always successful! In fact, some struggled for awhile. But they FOLLOWED through!! They stayed “in the game” continued practicing and eventually learned a SKILL. A skill like no other. The ability to pull money out of the emini markets everyday is a very good skill to have!

We had a great trading day today! Some had a “one and done” – the first Normal System Entry out of No Zone. Some of us, myself included grabbed the Super EET trade. A bit aggressive of a trade, but risking 2 ticks to make 8 – can’t beat it! Well it lost 2 ticks and I grabbed the NSE out of NO Zone as well, recovered and made my 4 ticks. At that point I needed a tick or two more to cover commissions so I grabbed another EET for a quick 3 ticks. At the same time we had a Pullback Trade (short) that also was a winner. 70 percent of the time, both the EET and Pullback trades will win!

Today we had some really nice swings in the market where it broke down below 1200 earlier in the session leading the way to some really nice moves! We started off with a losing emini trade so for us it was a longer than normal day. However, the recovery and profitable trades were very nice indeed!!

A lot of times we get asked “What’re your stats”… In fact I had that request 3 times yesterday alone. To be honest, what matters to me is making MONEY everyday! Not a ratio of winners vs. losers. I know that’s important to some, and I certainly don’t frown on that. But the reality is – some trades lose, some trades win – so what matters THE MOST is that you take your money out of the market each and every day!!

We are off to a great start this week – a nice One and Done using 2 of the day trading setups we use in our emini futures course! The Normal System Entry, as well as the Pullback trade both delivered our daily profit – and within the first few minutes of the opening bell!

Our futures trading system outperformed this week! We had a lot of events this week that really raised the volatility of the markets. Non Farm came out this morning, and with the elections and the fed QE announcement this week -the markets are LOVING IT..
