Hi everyone! We launched our new versions of ProIndicatorV2 and etsProTrader Automated Strategy for the new NinjaTrader 7 platform this week! It’s been a lot of work dealing with that so I have not had a lot of time for blog posts – obviously.

We had a nice “one and done” today using our EET setup! If you missed that trade we had another one and done with our Pullback trade! Not going to do a video as there really is not much to it today!

Does it make a big difference in my day trading system? Sometimes, but not enough to worry about. Sometimes it means you take a trade that wins while others miss it. Really it all washes out in the end and probably 90 percent of the time we all get the same trade anyways – still worth noting.

Our etsProTrader Automated Strategy really had an awesome week! As of March 10 we were 6 % for the year, but down about 5.6% for the month. As of this writing we are up about 7% this MONTH and about 13 % or so for the year. ProTrader is a great long term system. It can’t win every trade. It doesn’t trade every day. It is designed for long term wealth building. As a reminder – ProTrader is very limited and if you are interested you should consider acting soon.

Trading was a nice one and done today. We opened just out of No Zone, so we we’re ready to take our Super EET trade, one of my favorites. The bell rang, and the market moved up and signaled an EET so quick that most of us missed it! It was a nice trade too! Good for 4 points!

I tell my students that recovery should be your FINEST trading attribute! Trading is never going to be “easy”. Sure, over time, with experience trading does become easier, as traders get acclimated to their trading systems, they practice and learn discipline (or they should!) but the losing trade WILL happen and every trader must have a recovery plan and the ability to focus. So when you are down a couple of points, your mindset should be totally focused NOT on what happened (losing) but on what is going to happen – what trade is next? What is my plan? Not , “woes me, I lost again” … Those kind of negative thoughts are a sure-fire way to end a day trading career.

Tomorrow we move over to the June contract so we expect “split” volume as traders will be unwinding trades in the March contract and rolling over to the June contract.
