Taking an approach of only trading higher probability setups does not necessarily ensure your success. A lot of newer traders learn a trading system, such as our emini system. Once they see the high probability trades they sometimes feel that they should only take those trades. Don’t get me wrong – we do like the high probability trades! That’s why we did the video series to show how accurate our signals are. However, you can lose on ANY trade.

Today started off with a losing trade. We don’t get “one and done” trades all the time, although we’ve had a ton lately. Day trading is all about the discipline to recover from the losing trades, knowing when and when not to trade!

As we discussed last week, we recorded 3 live trades about a week or so ago – all on a real account, of course. These trades we’re higher probability trades.

We teach 3 setups in our Tick Trader Day Trading Course, sometimes the trades percentage of success rises. We call these higher probability trades.
