The Emini Trading Strategies 5 Point Challenge!

Hi everyone. One thing I teach my students to do is a technique called “The 5 Point Challenge”. This is a very important step for students to take when trading my system. Here’s the thing… To trade, successfully, we need experience. Our “one and done” win rate is pretty high. With that said, if a new student were to attempt to learn my system and every day we had a one and done he stopped, it would take him a long time to learn my system.

Ok. Are you wondering yet, what the world am I talking about? How can you NOT BE LEARNING if you are getting ONE AND DONE’s Dave???

Well, we KNOW well in advance that we WILL take losing trades. So when we do, we have to RECOVER. And to recover we need a few things…
1) A plan
2) DISCIPLINE and
3) A full working knowledge of the trading system. Trading 5 minutes a day is great. But as a new student we need to stay in the game a little bit longer.

I want you to get beat up a bit! I want your emotions to be brought to the brink! Why? Because that is how you learn how to trade for a living!

So back to The 5 Point Challenge. I teach my students to stay in the game longer.
Simple: Try to make 5 points a day. Some days you will, some days you wont, and SO WHAT. It does not matter if you do or do not make 5 points. It’s all about DOING IT. You will learn how to trade! You will learn how to recover, what trades to make, what trades NOT to take, and most of all, hopefully, discipline!

Check out today’s video. Today was a CLASSIC day for this. 2 or 3 winning trades out of the gate, then a loser, then some recovery trades! This is what it is all about……

Cheers!
