We’re getting a lot of great questions since people found out we’re taking the Tick Trader course off the market on June 1st. So, I decided to do a series of videos where I get to answer as many of those questions as possible.

Just come by the blog each day this week where I’ll start off discussing the trades of the day .. then, I’ll get into the answers you’ve been wanting to know.

By the way, sorry this this blog post is a little late in posting .. I’m doing the best I can!

Tick Trader Course: What’s Makes Us Different?

The markets are currently enjoying another rally today. AAPL is on fire! If I were to ever buy and hold one stock, it would probably be AAPL.

We had another quick one and done day as well today!

Now that I have decided to stop selling online, a lot of you have asked for more videos. I understand that you want to check us out before you make a decision.

That’s cool, we get it.

While I can’t do videos everyday: I will try!

If I could, I’d describe today with a few choice expletives … I would.
But, some people are sensitive to that ..

I’m keeping my excitement on a leash. Could be that Spring is in the air … and I’m amped for the first live training coming up in a couple weeks…

I dunno … I do love Spring though ….

What I do know is that today was pretty sweet for a few of us in the trading room….

Today was THAT good. I’m proud of my students too.

A few in the trading room came out with some nice profit ..
And some left ‘work’ early .. by 9:35 am!

The markets rallied a bit, early on … caused by the VIX being near an all time low.

No matter: We still had plenty of opportunity today to earn 1 – 3 points.

I could care less when it’s slow like that …. Super proud of the fact that my students rode some nice winners and made a profit for the day.

Some got a One and Done – they left for the day just after 9:30 am….
…. other students snatched 1 or 2 more winners before taking off. All in all, we had another f***ing fantastic day tick trading …

Hey everybody …

Here’s the scoop: Some of you have known me since 2007, when I took the plunge and first went online selling my Tick Trader System …

Very slow day today. We only had a few setups the first hour!

Most of our students had a one and done using our NSE out of NO Zone setup! Very nice!

I actually missed the trade and ended up with a 1/2 point loser, followed by a couple trades that allowed me to recover and profit by 10:30 AM… Not a bad day at all!

Well, no doubt you have all noticed, its been a slow week! The VIX is near the record lows and by the looks of it, trades have been hard to come by! We normally see 20 trades an hour – and now we’re just seeing 4 or 5!

Fortunately the trade we’ve been trained to spot and execute have mostly been winners so we’re still able to trade for the main goal here: Daily Income.

We trade for daily income so we don’t have to trade all day long.

The truth is that trading in this environment is like watching paint dry… it is BRUTAL.

Therefore, again, as Tick Traders we set our goals at a modest 1 point profit per day – and we’ve done it all week!!

Keep disciplined, stick to your rules and leave the emotions out of your trading and you should do well!

I’m off to enjoy the weekend! Get some rest and let’s rock next week.

VIX
VIX is the ticker symbol for the Chicago Board Options Exchange Market Volatility Index, a popular measure of the implied volatility of S&P 500 index options. Often referred to as the fear index or the fear gauge, it represents one measure of the market’s expectation of stock market volatility over the next 30 day period.

Sure is a lot of buzz today about the economy really showing signs of turning around…

Hmm, let’s see… just on CNBC.com we have:
Warren Buffet stating that single family homes are very attractive
Pending home sales rise to a two year top
Apple hits a new high (good for them!)…
AND the DOW is above 13000 and “they say” if it closes above 13000 we are off to 15000!

Of course I am not an economist. Maybe the economy IS getting better. But I don’t believe it. Too many factors like unemployment, fuel prices, and the fact that 80% or so of companies in the US are NOT hiring.

Think about it: we have the lowest mortgage rates in history. If the economy is good, shouldn’t these houses be flying off the shelves..??

I don’t know…. I just don’t buy into it..

What I DO know though is TRADING. That, I know inside out. I’ve been a day trader, swing trader, and a market connoisseur for a long time.

I remember telling my students we were bottomed out at the 660 level or so. And right now I am very certain we are topping off… Personally, I would NOT be holding any long term equities at this point.. I would lock down some gains, wait for a correction and maybe buy them later..

Luckily I can day trade pretty well! I had 3 nice setups today between 930 -10AM – All winners!
